“I don’t have enough holes to thread to justify an expensive Emuge Tap!”
The MultiTAP is ideal for you. It has a lower price tag than our standard application specific taps, yet it comes with the reliability and superior performance you expect from an Emuge tap. MultiTAP is a high-performance general- purpose tap, designed to outperform all other taps in its category, and it will reduce your production costs.

“How can you sell the MultiTAP for much less than your regular taps?
It is primarily a result of economy of scale. Because of the much broader application range of the MultiTAP and lower price point, we anticipate a very high demand for the product. Thus, we will be manufacturing MultiTAPs in much larger quantities than our regular application specific taps.

“One of the sizes I use is not in your MultiTAP program. Can I get it?”
What you see is currently the only MultiTAPs available. On popular demand we may add other sizes later. In the meantime we can easily find you a tap in our standard program that will work for you.

“Will the MultiTAP cut Titanium?”
MultiTAP’s performance in the heat resistant materials such as Titanium and Inconel is rather limited. We recommend you use a tap from our standard program with geometry and coating specifically designed for cutting these materials.

“I use your Enorm-VA tap in stainless steel. Will the MultiTAP work as well in this application?”
MultiTAP will work very well in stainless steel, but it will not cut as many holes as our standard Enorm-VA tap.
