Ni Taps
Semi-Bottoming - UNC/UNF
Rekord DF-NI semi-bottoming taps with VHC - Variable Helix Correction - A specially ground "F" relief geometry in the primary cutting zone, that generates a smaller and tightly rolled chip formation. The resulting benefit is enhanced chip control to prevent the damaging effects of chips jamming in the tap teeth on both forward and reverse.
- For blind hole applications
- 10˚ right-hand slow helix flute
- TICN coated for additional wear resistance
- Form C chamfer length (2-3 P)
- DIN / ANSI taps made with Emuge’s trademark long shanks- DIN length for extra reach and ANSI shanks
